Mark was elected to represent Birstall and Birkenshaw in 2018. He is a panel member of the police and crime commission, a trustee board member of kirklees active leisure and a panel member of the health and wellbeing board for kirklees.
David Hall was first elected to Kirklees Council for the Liversedge & Gomersal ward in 2004. He is the Leader of the Conservatives on the council, and also sits on the Licensing Committee and the West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Authority. David has in the past held the offices of Cabinet Member for Finance, Chair of the Resources Scrutiny Committee and Group Deputy Leader, and was also a member of the West Yorkshire Police Authority and the Police and Crime Commission.
By profession David is a music teacher, organist and freelance performer, and he lives in Roberttown with his wife Lyndsey and two sons, Edward and George.

Keiron Gavaghan is Vice Chairman (Membership) of the Batley and Spen Association. An active member of the party he has helped to grow the membership by nearly 150% over the last 3 years. Originally from Batley Keiron has always taken a keen interest in local issues especially those relating to crime, employment, and the local environment. Following schooling in the local town Keiron went on to university before returning to Batley to start his first business at Batley Technology Centre. This business proved to be a success and at the age of just 26 Kerion was able to orchestrate a sale to a private equity firm.

Paul has lived in Batley since 2009, with his wife who grew up in Batley, and his two sons who attend local schools. Having been raised on a Leeds council estate, Paul has worked hard to achieve what he has today
Former Chairman and now President of The Batley & Spen Conservative Association. Paul has always lived in Batley and is married to Lindsay and they have two sons. His working career was as a partner in a large firm of Chartered Accountants as well as holding a number of directorships. Spent 35 years as a magistrate on the Batley and Dewsbury benches and awarded an MBE for services to charity in 2008.
