Melanie has lived locally all her life. She took a break from work to look after her son for five years, and would now like the opportunity to work towards something that can really make a difference to people locally.
Melanie has recently started working part-time for a local visual impairment charity, where she started as a volunteer.
She has also enjoyed organising and participating in many fundraising events for different causes over the last 10 years.
Melanie hopes to join the well established & hardworking team in Liversedge and Gomersal, working with and for local residents to help with matters that mean the most to the community.
