I’m Joshua, Chairman for the Batley&Spen Young Conservatives. I joined the party in August 2019, and since then, I have been involved with a variety of events. I helped to establish the young Conservatives within Batley&Spen in January 2020. As young Conservatives, we are the party's future, and we all must continue to prepare the party for the future.
Lewis was born and raised nearby, and went on to study at the University of Oxford. Lewis cares deeply about the local area, and will be listening to local residents and campaigning for the issues that are important for them. Looking after our town is very important to Lewis and making it a safer, cleaner, more usable space for all of us is his top priority.
Melanie has lived locally all her life. She took a break from work to look after her son for five years, and would now like the opportunity to work towards something that can really make a difference to people locally.

Having worked as a Senior Risk and Control Manager for a major high street Bank, I now spend my time learning Italian and volunteering in the gardens at Harewood House.
